Who Am I?

I am also someone who is fortunate enough to have been able to follow my dream: photography. It started out with taking simple pictures and as I have developed as a photographer a creative side has emerged. Now I specialize in fashion, glamour, portrait, event and wedding photography.

I have been told that I bring a high level of energy and enthusiasm to a shoot that creates an environment that allows for fun and creativity. Two ingredients that you absolutely need for amazing images. I enjoy working through the creative process of developing a concept and bringing an idea to life. My passion behind the lens has created pieces of work that have been described as creative, vivid, bold, modern, dramatic and elegant. With all my clients, my goal is to not only to meet their expectations but to also exceed them.

Throughout my life, I have had the privilege to live and travel in some of the most amazing places around the world. New York City, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and other parts of Asia. Having an east-west perspective has given enormous influence in my artistic vision and style.

While living in New York I became one of the founding members of Asianlens; an organization dedicated to exhibiting the works of contemporary Asian American photographer. Asianlens hosted its very first exhibit in 2002.

I now reside in Vancouver, British Columbia and am continuing to develop and expand on my dream here and around the world.
